I got mail! (full of questions, which I shall now answer)

I had forgotten to log into my e-mail account up until five minutes ago, I do check it very regularly, but in this instance I had forgotten for a few days, so I was amazed that some people had e-mailed me via this site asking me questions about this mission of mine, (I was amazed mainly as I've not met any comedians yet, so there's not a great deal to question me about), but glad I have people reading my blog, so thanks mystery people. I shall be meeting the first comedian in my quest in just over two weeks time, the amazingly funny Wil Hodgson, which I'm really excited about, but I'll go into greater detail about that after I've met him, (so be sure to check back people), so onto the questions......

Question 1: "great idea, but if you only have 12 fave comedians and 1 of them says no, surely the bet will be over wont it? - Martin"

Well, yes, or at least it would be if I only had twelve favourite comedians, there are many, many, many comedians I like, however, if I were to pick my favourites, (which I just did with the aid of a pen & paper), discounting the ones who are sadly no longer with us, there are about 30-odd that I would class as among my favourites, which may sound like a lot, but if you think of the sheer volume of comedians knocking about, it isnt really. So, as long as I don't get over 20 saying "no", it's all ok, (so far I've had one person who has declined, and no I'm not going to divulge who it was, as that would be out of order).

Question 2: "Who are the 12 comedians you're going for a drink with? - Carly" 

I would love to say that I've arranged to meet all twelve already, however I havent, I can however say who has initially agreed, as I'm sure they wont mind, (if you're reading this and do mind, let me know, I can edit this). To be honest, I'm chuffed that I'm being given the opportunity to meet these five amazing comedians, (I'm trying not to sound too sychophantic here), so if no-one else says "yes", then at least I've accomplished meeting these extremely funny individuals, yay!

Question 3: "You didnt mention what happens if you fail this bet, what is your forfeit? - Ash",

First of all, I have a good friend called Ash, but this isnt his e-mail, so either he's set up another e-mail account just to bamboozle me, or it's another Ash. If it is him, then he should use a different name.....so it's probably not him....surely! Now on with the answer, I don't know, I'm sure she's thinking of a suitable forfeit as we speak, but at the moment she says she hasn't decided. It's also worth mentioning she's still looking fairly confident I'll fail, despite me being one "yes" away from the halfway mark and it's still only January, oh she of little faith!

I didnt get any other questions, so I can't really answer non-existant ones, but one thing worth mentioning, I am grateful that there are people reading this and following my mission, but if possible, please leave any questions or comments below in the comments section, just in case I don't notice your e-mail, many thanks!
